Ok, so let's get this party started. I'll be real: Venus Squaring Saturn on Monday, October 28th to start the week is about as pleasant as eating a plate full of toothpicks. This energy will certainly make us feel like being on our own rather than going out and tearing up the town, as it has a tendency to shine a light on all our flaws. This rather cold and uncaring transit may also cause us to misinterpret others’ actions, making people seem like they have ill intent toward you when this may not be the case. I swear your friends do value you, though it may not always feel that way, especially early this week!
After a rather challenging couple days to begin our workweek, expect the energy to feel much more inward and conducive to planning as we get closer to Halloween. This is an opportunity to focus on our own healing processes as we head into November. Perhaps this reflection, aided by the new moon in the sign of Scorpio on Friday, November 1st, along with the Mercury Neptune trine will be what tempts us to this more introverted and reflective energy. Or maybe we all just need a break from the chaos of the world. Either way, it should be a fairly creative and introspective Halloween this year. Perhaps you won't be feeling quite your best, but it is a very good time to do some quiet, inner work. That's the good news.
More good news is that to end the week we finally have some softer, happier transits, including Mercury trine Mars and sextile Pluto as it enters Sagittarius. A far more optimistic day is Saturday, November 2nd when we may finally feel like re-entering the world of the living after some reflection and work on tougher emotions earlier in the week. This is a day to get out and enjoy some fall colors, if there are any left.
Unfortunately we sink right down into the toothpick-filled abyss on Sunday, November 3rd with another transit that tends to make us feel like garbage. This one is Mars opposition Pluto. This fun aspect will demand that we release anger that may have been percolating from a rough start to the week. But with any Pluto/Mars combination, the energy can be rather explosive and issues that have been suppressed for a longer time may boil over. In other words, this is not a day to be combative with the friends we thought were alienating us earlier in the week when Venus was square Saturn. Nor is it the time to take crazy risks, like bungee jumping or having political bumper stickers on your car. Also, while you may have some very justified reasons for feeling angry with someone who is not valuing the contributions you have made to their life, this isn’t a good time to cut them off.
To sum it all up? This week is a nice introvert sandwich with introvert bread and a dash of rage sauce on top. More outgoing types especially might not have the greatest week, but this too shall pass. Enjoy!
