This is a huge week Astrologically, punctuated by a major planetary shift into a new sign at the end of the weekend. The energy should be sufficiently powerful by Saturday and Sunday that all of us will likely take notice: a solar eclipse and a new transition of Neptune into the sign of Aries.
On their own, each of these energies highlight an substantial energetic shift towards starting over and beginning anew: Aries is the first sign in the zodiac, and when energies leave Pisces and begin the Astrological cycle over it signifies a new beginning in a very spiritual and meaningful way. We have completed a cycle of understanding as human beings, and now, armed with new knowledge and wisdom from the previous cycle we can begin with a fresh perspective, learning about our place in a brand new world and taking baby steps to find our way.
However, it is almost unprecedented that two massive transits are shifting us together towards this collective new energy literally one day after another. Saturday and Sunday. This eclipse, and the spiritual shift Neptune is making into Aries are colliding to remind us of the following in a not-so-gentle way: we ARE in a brave new world!
Take a look around you this week. Does anything really feel familiar to the world you grew up in? We have AI transforming our work and our reality. We have a massive political wave sweeping across not just the US but realigning superpowers. The news is almost completely for profit. It’s almost impossible to talk to a human being when you are making any kind of business transaction. Nobody knows their neighbors, or really cares to know them. Humans are powerfully aware of the need to create boundaries between one another for our mental health, but have these boundaries actually put us into bubbles from which we cannot escape?
The world is completely different. The week we awaken from a long fever dream, crawl out of our caves, take our first steps and into the disorienting brightness of the sun and ask ourselves some really important questions.
“Who am I? What is my place in this new world? Why is my phone telling me I need to agree to the terms and conditions in my new Apple subscription?”
These are good questions and they may drive you to pondering more of them this week:
“Is the work I am doing today actually in line with what I would choose today?”
“Are the people in my life aligned with who I have become?”
“Should I leave my state, or even country of birth and start over?”
The theme of starting over is very, very high this week, as is the theme of wandering bright-eyed and confused out into a world that makes almost no sense. This weekend we all collectively wake up and say, “what on earth is going on here?” As if we were sleepwalking for years and now everything is overwhelming.
This is the cycle of birth. Babies are born, forgetting who they were in their past lives and enter this world completely confused.
With the early week Mercury Sextile to Pluto and dark moon Lilith also changing signs into Scorpio our understanding of our predicament as humans is likely to be deep and accurate.
What does this all mean?
Well, if you are thinking of making a huge, sweeping change in your life in the coming year, your intuition about it is likely very correct. Trust yourself. Neptune, the planet of Intuition and spiritual transformation is guiding us all towards new beginnings as we enter April.
You already know what you have to do. Open the door and walk through.

You will likely have encounters with people who will cast doubt onto any plans you might be making to start your life over in some way. This is especially true by mid-week.
Do not listen to them.
If you know that all the hard spiritual work, learning and growing you have done in the past ten years of Neptune’s journey through Pisces was worth the fight, now is the time to put your learning into action. Don’t feel regret for the action you didn’t take towards this journey in the last several years. You were not ready.
