Impulsive and fiery, the energy of Aries is powerful and unmistakable. No games, no frills, and no subtlety. More likely to ram their way through problems, or at the very least, meet them head-on, Aries is the most direct sign in the Zodiac.

As the first sign of twelve, Aries people enter the world like enthusiastic puppies, learning through a lot of trial and error and gaining life skills through sheer perseverance. A better animal analogy for a young Aries might perhaps be an excitable, untamed ram, which is the constellation that corresponds to this sign. Older rams are a little more apt to pick their battles than younger ones, but none of them are what anyone would call timid. Nor are they likely to shy away from a challenge.

To be blunt, Aries natives tend to know what they want and how to get it. And what they don't know, they will learn fast. However, they don't decide to take on a new project just for the sake of knowledge or fun. Not at all. They want to get something from any effort they expend; Hence the desire to win. And Aries is fantastic at finding a way to squeeze a "win" out of any situation.

Filled with desire and the courage to succeed in any setting, Aries acts first and asks questions later. Not always one for deep soul-searching, Aries natives put their needs first and are not asking for your approval. This impulsive and instinctive nature is a calling card of the sign, and its natives are fantastic at trusting their intuition as a result.

While there can be great depth to people with an Aries Sun or Moon, generally, the energy of the sign is uncomplicated to understand. What Aries may lack in craftiness or tact, it makes up for in sheer boldness and determination. On its route to success, Aries may ruffle quite a few feathers, as it has no desire to flatter or cajole others into submission. It simply uses its extraordinary energy to accomplish amazing feats while others look on in envy. Aries isn’t noble like Capricorn or regal like Leo, but in its own commanding way, it is born to lead.

Aries rarely attempts to source its energy from other people, choosing instead to move ahead on its own steam through its intense desire and determination. As mentioned earlier, anyone trying to understand Aries may do best not to employ endless analysis; something that cannot be said of most other signs. With Aries, what wants to be known is generally on the surface, its natives starring on social media, making their presence felt just by entering a room, or coming up with a solution to a problem that few others dared to consider. It’s best to allow Aries plenty of space and freedom to have its way, as it no doubt will anyway.
