Juno: Because Confidence Shouldn’t Compromise
Juno: Because Confidence Shouldn't Compromise
Saturday, June 27th, 2026 • 1:00pm - 3:00pm • The Ninth House, Tucson, AZ • $45
Juno was queen of the gods: sovereign, fierce, and untouchable
Then the patriarchy got hold of her myth and did what it always does: took a powerful woman and repackaged her as a cautionary tale of jealousy and spite. Thousands of years later, astrology followed suit and turned her into a placement about marriage and fulfilling a duty to your spouse.
This is not the Juno we have come to understand. What is she really about? Confidence. And confidence shouldn’t compromise.
Reclaiming Juno means reclaiming the part of you she represents: the part that knows exactly what it deserves in a committed relationship. Her placement in your natal chart holds some of the most uncomfortably accurate information you’ll find anywhere. She maps the agreements you form in close relationship and the specific ways things unravel when those needs go unmet.
Regardless of gender, we all have ways in which we have been conditioned to ask for less, to take up less space, and to “keep the peace”. In this workshop, we’ll work through Juno by sign and house to decode how we can begin reprogramming that conditioning, instead learning how to ask for what we need in our relationships in a way that’s healthy and confident. We’ll sit with her shadow too, because that’s where she gets really useful: the imbalance you keep recreating and the devotion that slowly curdles into self-erasure. Making it visible astrologically won’t dissolve it overnight. But visibility is where agency begins, how change is started.
You’ll leave with a real read on your Juno placement and the tools to use it practically: to articulate what you need, to recognize when you’re abandoning yourself for the sake of keeping the peace, and to understand that wanting reciprocity is not a character flaw. It’s the whole point of partnership.
Birth charts will be provided. Part I of the Goddess Asteroid Workshop Series, continuing with Vesta, Ceres, and Pallas.
