Climbing unscalable walls

Capricorn is the ultimate climber. It wants to be at the top financially, socially, professionally, and in most other situations. It desires to look down at the rest of the world, seeing nothing but a sea of tiny dots and reveling in all it has accomplished. Still, high expectations are never a motivating force for Capricorn. In fact, older people who put too much pressure on young Capricorns may do more harm than good, paradoxically igniting a case of low self-esteem that persists for many years—even a lifetime. On the other hand, when given an appropriate amount of time to develop, Capricorn energy gradually comes to life and reaches its full potential over time.

The natural energy of the sign may be wise beyond its years, but it is never content to rely solely on its considerable natural talents. Capricorn hones its talent and works hard to achieve its goals, even if it must wait to find its true calling until much later in life. Until that time, Capricorns have their eyes on the prize but tend to shrink back, hiding their true light until they are ready to emerge and have had considerable time to develop. Like the other earth signs, this sign loves patience and works best when slowly developing. The energy of Capricorn's ruling planet, Saturn, helps to keep this individual grounded and working in a patient manner until the time is right to make a change. As a side note: there is something about earth signs that is synonymous with extreme patience. Taurus is a little bit more plodding and Virgo a bit more self-sacrificing than Capricorn, but all three of these signs can bide their time with great success.

Despite a drive to succeed, Capricorns are very able and willing to mentor others, often passing along their considerable strength and knowledge to do good in the world. It’s a rare Capricorn who passes up the opportunity to lead, though this rarely happens at its own expense. Capricorn almost always has a wealth of knowledge to impart to younger people who are just starting out in life. They make amazing teachers and especially consultants.

Capricorn needs no motivation from others, as it really can do anything it puts its mind to. That said, Capricorn natives face the challenge of embodying self-confidence, especially socially, and learning to rely on their own considerable mental and emotional resources to become successful. When this happens, you can be assured they have a chance to be the actual G.O.A.T. (Greatest of All Time)!
